タイトル： “My Elizabeths:  A Biographer and Her Subjects”
講師・タイトル説明：Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Megan Marshall will speak about her work as a three-time biographer: how she chooses her subjects, how she writes inspiring life stories based on carefully researched facts. You will be introduced to at least three women she has studied over nearly four decades:  Elizabeth Peabody, pioneering educator and Transcendentalist; Elizabeth Hawthorne, the mysteriously reclusive older sister of Nathaniel Hawthorne; and Elizabeth Bishop, Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet of the 20th century.

Megan Marshall is the Author of Peabody Sisters(2005), Margaret Fuller: A New American Life (2013), and Elizabeth Bishop: A Miracle for Breakfast (2016).
